Trish Shishikura is a Tokyo-born, Manila-based photographer and poet whose work lives at the intersection of memory, myth, and the quiet power of intimate storytelling. With a formal background in literature and visual work spanning fashion, editorial, and fine art photography, her practice navigates the emotional charge of image and text as equal forms of witness.

She is the First Prize winner for Poetry in English at the 71st Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for her manuscript Translating Wildfires, and her poems have been featured in The Mekong Review, Softblow, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, LIKHAAN: The Journal of Contemporary Philippine Literature, Rogue Agent, Philippines Free Press, Tokyo Poetry Journal, and others. She is currently preparing her debut poetry collection, the end comes on without a gasp—a decade-spanning work that examines mortality, migration, familial and emotional rupture, and the complexity of grief and reintegration in the diaspora.

As a photographer, Trish has produced fashion and editorial work for Louis Vuitton, Versace, Coach, Condé Nast Japan, Nylon Manila, Cosmopolitan Philippines, and Vogue Philippines, among others. She has also worked with some of the Philippines’ most prominent personalities and continues to collaborate with brands that seek a refined, emotionally resonant visual language. Her commercial projects include campaigns for Starbucks Philippines, Royal Tru-Orange, Robinsons Malls, and more.

Her recent exhibits include Bloom, thereafter, a collaborative portrait and poetry installation exploring queer self-acceptance, and Orbits of Absence, a macro photography series reflecting on loss and transformation. Her work was most recently featured in a solo digital exhibit for 10 Days of Art by Make It Makati, showcasing selections from her ongoing explorations in poetic and lens-based storytelling.

Trish’s hybrid approach to art-making is rooted in co-creation and emotional clarity. She treats both poetry and photography as sites of listening—where language, light, and presence converge to make meaning out of what might otherwise remain unsaid. She is currently represented by Artists & Company Manila for photography and creative direction.
宍倉満利耶は、東京生まれマニラ在住の写真家・詩人です。彼女の作品は、記憶と神話、そして親密な語りの中に宿る静かな力を探求するものであり、ファッション、エディトリアル、ファインアートの写真表現と文学的なバックグラウンドを融合させながら、言葉とイメージを等しく「証言」として扱います。

詩人としては、詩集『Translating Wildfires(野火を訳す)』で第71回カルロス・パランカ記念文学賞 英語詩部門・第一位を受賞。作品は『The Mekong Review』『Softblow』『Quarterly Literary Review Singapore』『LIKHAAN』『Rogue Agent』『Philippines Free Press』『Tokyo Poetry Journal』など、国内外の文学誌に掲載されています。現在、移民、死生観、家族の断絶と再統合をテーマにした詩集『the end comes on without a gasp』の刊行準備を進めています。

写真家としては、Louis Vuitton、Versace、Coach、Condé Nast Japan、NYLON Manila、Cosmopolitan Philippines、VOGUE Philippinesなどのエディトリアル撮影を手がけてきました。また、Starbucks、Royal Tru-Orange、Robinsons Mallsをはじめとするブランドキャンペーンも担当し、洗練されたビジュアルと情緒に訴える作風で知られています。

近年の主な展示には、クィアの自己受容をテーマとした詩と肖像のインスタレーション《bloom, thereafter》、喪失と変容を主題とするマクロ写真シリーズ《Orbits of Absence》などがあり、最新作はMake It Makati主催の《10 Days of Art》でソロデジタル展示として発表されました。

詩も写真も、「耳を澄ます行為」として取り組む宍倉の芸術表現は、言葉・光・存在の交差点において、言葉にならない感情や記憶に形を与えることを目指しています。現在は、マニラを拠点とするエージェンシーArtists & Company Manilaに所属し、フォトグラフィとクリエイティブ・ディレクションの分野で活動中です。
